MARSHALL, MINN.: The Southwest Minnesota State University Mustang Booster Club would like to invite individuals to the 23rd Annual SMSU Golf Classic on June 8-9.
The SMSU Golf Classic is a two-day event sponsored by the Mustang Booster Club with proceeds from the fundraiser going to support SMSU student-athlete scholarships. Last year's classic featured over 170 golfers and raised over $20,000 in scholarships for SMSU student-athletes.
Sunday night's activities will take place at the SMSU Conference Center and include social hour, silent auction, dinner and entertainment by emcee Dick Jonckowski while on Monday the five-person scramble golf tournament takes place at Marshall Golf Club beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Individuals or couples who don't want to golf can still attend the social on Sunday night by purchasing social tickets. Cost for the social-only ticket is $35 per person or $50 per couple.
Cost for the entire two-day package is $160 per person and includes two tickets to the social and dinner on Sunday night, two tickets for breakfast on Monday at 8:30 a.m., lunch on the course, 18 holes of golf, including cart and golf shirt along with other great prizes.
Sponsorships are also available for businesses that wish to donate for the classic. A full sponsorship includes five tickets to the entire event including a five-person golf team.
