Mustang Booster Club Luncheons Begin on Wednesday

MARSHALL, Minn. - The Mustang Booster Club announced that its weekly luncheon meetings will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 1, at Shay's Restaurant in Marshall.

The 27-scheduled meetings, which begin at 12:15 p.m. each Wednesday, are open to all Booster Club members and prospective members. Wednesday's first meeting will be a Fall sports preview with all four Mustang head coaches speaking about their upcoming season.

Mustang Booster Club Kickoff Picnic set for Aug. 27

MARSHALL - The Mustang Booster Club will hold its annual kickoff picnic on Friday, Aug. 27 at the Regional Event Center in Marshall starting at 6 p.m. The event officially kickoffs the 2010-11 Mustang athletic season.

2010-11 Mustang Booster Club members can pick up their season tickets and Booster Club apparel at the picnic. Additional Mustang apparel will also be for sale.

In addition, the SMSU football team will host an open practice at 3:45 p.m. that afternoon with the picnic to follow. Selected SMSU fall student-athletes will be available for autographs starting at 6 p.m.
