MARSHALL, Minn. - The Southwest Minnesota State men's, women's and wheelchair basketball teams entertained a crowd of just under 1,000 Friday night in the P.E. Gym for their annual "Late Show." Fans were treated to scrimmages by all three teams, a three-point contest and dunk contest.
Redshirt freshman
Lavione West, however, stole the show, wowing the crowd with his high-flying slam over SMSU assistant coach
Rick Karius and teammate
Jordan Buddenhagen to win the dunk contest.
Student fans were also treated to door prizes and a lavishly produced player introduction ceremony.
