MARSHALL, Minn. - The Southwest Minnesota State University athletics department, in conjunction with National Fire Prevention Week, will host Lyon County First Responders Day on Saturday, Oct. 10, when the SMSU football team hosts Augustana College for 2009 Homecoming starting at 6 p.m. at the Regional Event Center.

Emergency response vehicles from Lyon County will be on display, while SMSU fire patrol hats will be handed out to the first 500 children at the front gate prior to kickoff.
