ST. CLOUD, Minn. - Southwest Minnesota State placed a trio of wrestlers Saturday at the Husky Open hosted by St. Cloud State.  Austen Cole, Justin Reinsma and Demond Carter all captured sixth-place finishes for the Mustangs.

Cole, wrestling unattached, went 3-2 at 133 pounds en route to his sixth-place finish.

Reinsma, also wrestling unattached, posted a 3-3 record at 141 pounds to bring home sixth-place accolades.

Carter went 4-3 on the day to chart sixth-place honors at 157 pounds.

SMSU will be back in action after the holiday break when the Mustangs open conference dual competition against Augustana on Jan. 15.
