NSIC Championships Results

MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State women's golf team will conclude the 2008-09 regular season this weekend, April 25-26, competing in the third and fourth rounds of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference championships at Brookings Country Club in Brookings, S.D.

The first two rounds of the championship were played at Hillcrest Golf Club in St. Paul, Minn., on October 4-5, 2008.

SMSU is currently in sixth place in the 12-team championship with a two-round team score of 105-over-par 681.  Concordia leads the championship with a team score of 651, seven shots ahead of Winona State.

SMSU freshman KC Kane is currently in a three-way tie for first place with a 13-over-par 157. 

SMSU is scheduled to tee off at 11:40 a.m. on Saturday, while Sunday's final round gets underway with a shotgun at 9:30 a.m.
