ROUND ONE RESULTS

FLORENCE, Ariz. - The Southwest Minnesota State women's golf team shot a team score of 323 in the first round of the Poston Butte Invite at Poston Butte G.C. in Florence, Ariz., and is currently in second place in the five-team, 36-hole event.

 

Minnesota State leads the tournament with a 321, while MSU's Lisa Moline is the first round leader with a score of 4-over-par 76.

 

SMSU's KC Kane and Krista Weiszhaar both shot rounds of 8-over-par 80 and are currently tied for third place.  Melissa Lackas (81), Sarah Baukol (82) and Stephanie Bruns (86) round out SMSU's team score.  Haley Gudim (93) and Katelyn Schwartz (98) both played as individuals.

 

The final round will start on Thursday morning at 9:30 MST.
