MARSHALL, Minn. – Southwest Minnesota State University will host the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference SAAC Summit this weekend, an annual gathering of Student-Athlete Advisory Committee members from across the conference.
Student-athletes from across the conference will spend the weekend on the SMSU campus and perform service projects around the community. The student-athletes will also hear from several guest speakers who will talk about leadership and motivation skills.
On Saturday morning, the student-athletes will conduct their community service project, helping with the Redwood River Clean-Up program in Marshall. Following the community service project, the group will have other special activities throughout the afternoon and evening.
