MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University Mustang Booster Club recently held the 27th annual David & Carol Drown SMSU Golf Classic on June 15-16, raising scholarship dollars for Mustang student-athletes.

For the second straight year, the Drown SMSU Golf Classic featured two 18-hole tournaments, with a total of 51 five-member teams participating.  On Friday, June 15, 33 teams played at Marshall Golf Club with the team of Tim Deutz, CJ Haukom, Doug Krogen, Tom McLaughlin and Chad Michelson winning the “A” Flight championship with a round of 48.

On Saturday, June 16, 18 teams participated at Tyler Golf Club with the team of Bill Mulso, Eric Eben, Bill Toulouse, Jeff Bragg and Tim Steinbach earning the team championship carding a round of 56.
