SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Southwest Minnesota State University women's cross country team recorded 313 points and finished in 10th place at the 15-team Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championships held Saturday at Yankton Trail Park.
Hannah Palmeter was SMSU's top finisher recording a 33rd place finish out of 135 runners in the 6k race, with a time of 22 minutes, 22 seconds.
Emilee Trost from Minnesota Duluth won the individual title with a time of 19:51. U-Mary captured the team championship with 33 points, with Minnesota Duluth finishing second with 47 points.

SMSU returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 5, at the NCAA Region Championships held at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls.
