ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State women's and men's outdoor track & field teams concluded its busy weekend today by competing at the Hamline University Invite. SMSU also had several members compete yesterday at the Emporia State Relays in Kansas.
Hannah Palmeter paced SMSU women's team today breaking the school in the 5,000 meters with a time of 18:10.64 to place eighth out of 42. Palmeter also finished ninth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:20.57.
On the men's side, Jordan Janisch placed 18
th in the 100 meters crossing the line at 11.59 and was 10
th in the 400 meter hurdles at 59.43.
Jordan Flinn recorded a toss of 45.07m in the hammer throw to place 12
th out of 60.
Southwest Minnesota State returns to action next Saturday, April 10, at the University of Sioux Falls Invite.
