MANKATO, Minn.- The Southwest Minnesota State men's and women's indoor track and field teams competed in the Minnesota State Mankato Open & Multi this Friday and Saturday in the Myers Field House.
Bashir Aidrus finished in first place atop the podium in the men's 3,000 meter run and
Alex Weis won the men's shot with a final distance of 16.34 m. Weis and
Jordan Flinn finished in third and fourth place respectively in the men's weight throw. Â
Rylee Armstrong finished in third in the women's long jump and fifth in the women's triple jump.Â
The Mustangs finished fourth in the women's 4 X 400 meter relay.
Quadri Busari finished third in the men's 60 meter dash while
Eisha Oden finished fourth in the women's 400 meter dash.Â
Southwest Minnesota State's indoor track teams will be back in action next week as they compete in the Nebraska Open on Friday and Saturday in Lincoln, Neb.
